Marée is the French word for tide. It felt right for something made on the coast of Maine.

Cork has been part of life on the Atlantic for centuries. Pulled from bottles on fishing boats, used to float nets, harvested by hand from ancient forests without ever cutting the tree down. It's one of the most honest materials there is. We thought it deserved something beautiful made from it.

Every bag is made here in Maine, by hand, by one person. Small batches, clean lines, quality hardware. We don't chase trends and we don't rush.

Made in Maine. Made to last.
