Marée (pronounced muh-RAY) is the French word for tide. The name reflects my French heritage and a lifelong connection to the Maine coast. My family’s roots here stretch back generations, and having grown up by the ocean, I wanted a name that brought those two parts of my history together.

I work primarily with cork, a material I love for its softness, texture, and the beautiful range of colors it comes in. The Marée collection includes handbags I make here in Maine, along with a selection of cork wallets and accessories from Portugal.

I’ve spent years developing and refining my bags, paying particular attention to their construction, proportions, and finishing details. I enjoy the process of making them as much as seeing the finished piece, and I’m proud of the collection that has come from that work.
